Performance is enhanced with new RAID engine which has high internal transfer speed. The load of the processor can be offloaded to the RAID engine. An additional 5 optional disk enclosures can be connected to the D1-10, providing a maximum capacity of 54TB with 72 disk drives. RAID-6 technology is included to ensure continued operation even if errors occur in two hard disks at the same time. This technology greatly enhances the availability of the disk array and can be used together with other storage pools such as RAID-1 and RAID-5.
