Ministry of Education: Al Ghad Project
AL Yousuf undertook to implement the IT infrastructure for 25 schools. Infrastructure
included providing a complete wired network which included implementing CAT6 horizontal cabling, Fiber cables
to connect the MDF with IDF's, Switches and other active components for connectivity and a complete wireless
network implementation in the school for a full wireless coverage.
Cisco devices were implemented in the schools with a high end configuration on the switches and wireless
controllers with a maximum security. The project was completed in record time due to the urgency of the client
but it was done to the complete satisfaction of Ministry of Education.
IT helpdesk outsourcing for Al Ghad Schools
After the successful implementation of IT infrastructure in the 25 Al Ghad schools, Ministry of Education had
granted the Helpdesk support for all the 50 Al Ghad schools to Al Yousuf Computers. A contract was signed by
Ministry of Education and Al Yousuf Computer to provide IT support to all the 50 Al Ghad schools. The SLA
mentioned was to provide a response time of 2 hours and we are continously striving the maintain the SLA.
Our specialised Engineers travel to all the 50 schools in case of any problems reported to effectivey rectify
the problems.
Implementation of IT infrastructure in Schools
Al Yousuf won a major tender to provide 2977 units of Desktop Computers to schools in sharjah, Ajman,
Um Al Quaiwain, Ras Al Khaimah, Sharjah office and Fujairah. Apart from the mentioned PC's the project also
included providing 700 units of printers, 700 units of Access points and 156 switches to the schools. Our team
of professional engineers implemented the said quantity in the schools over a period of 21 days.
