NEC Solutions
VPCC
NEC offers a Virtual PC Type thin client system called the Virtual PC Center (VPCC).

NEC's new thin client system solution integrates and centralizes client assets, such as data and applications,
entirely on servers in the data center in order to fulfill three requirements:
- Enhancing security in the client environment
- Reducing TCO
- Providing mobility and working efficiency
As a result of centralizing assets, the client is extremely simple, serving as a user interface without resident
data or applications.
Thin Client Solutions
NEC offers a complete and innovative range of solutions, based around thin client design and PC virtualisation.
A large range of thin client terminals, including the TCM160,
the 1st portable thin client, and the US100, the first thin client to
integrate advanced solutions for multimedia and VoIP.
Software design for the operation and administration of the thin clients
and virtualised PCs, with the “Virtual PC Centre” solution, and traditional
thin client operating systems such as CITRIX or Microsoft TSE
Backup SmartWay
Backup Smart Way from NEC, an innovative, simple, and reliable backup solution that connects to your local area
network, for SMB's and branch offices. This solution integrates all the necessary components for backup and
archiving management and is ideal for offices with no dedicated IT support onsite. Benefits
- Improve efficiency of backup processes
- Quick restoration of data in case of disaster
- Reduce costs related to management
Storage Solution
NEC Storage solutions are designed to respond to the constraints of data management and business service continuity.
They assure exceptional performance, continuity of service, high availability, reliability and scalability
necessary to optimize business performance. The solutions can easily integrate, rapidly into a SAN environment.
Cluster Solutions
NEC ExpressCluster™ allows efficient data protection thanks to its shared bay clustering mode, or data mirroring.
NEC High Availability technology makes it possible to avoid material and software breakdown. In mirror mode, the
new data is automatically copied, of the primary system to the backup system, in synchronous or asynchronous mode.
Asynchronous mode of the NEC ExpressCluster™ allows an activity renewal solution to be set up in the event of a
disaster between the principal site and the backup site.
Trapeze Wireless Solutions
Smart Mobile™ from Trapeze Networks overcomes the limits of current-generation WLANs through a ground-breaking
innovation called "intelligent switching." Smart Mobile’s intelligent switching combines both centralized and
distributed data forwarding based on the requirements of the underlying application, resulting in optimized
traffic flow, reduced latency, and ultra high performance—all without the high cost of upgrading network
controller infrastructure.
Trapeze Networks delivers Smart Mobile™ — a ground-breaking approach to wireless networking, enabling organizations
to deploy massively scalable mobile applications that leverage their existing infrastructure. Smart Mobile achieves this breakthrough
by introducing intelligent switching, the first and only WLAN architecture that optimizes network traffic based on
the underlying application. With Smart Mobile intelligent switching, organizations can support the most demanding
next generation wireless applications such as toll-quality voice over WLAN for thousands of users, seamless
indoor/outdoor mobility, and high-speed networks based on 802.11n — all without requiring expensive forklift
upgrades. Trapeze Networks is well - capitalized, with strategic investments from networking industry leaders
including Juniper Networks, Motorola, and Nortel Networks. Founded in March 2002, Trapeze is headquartered in
Pleasanton, California, with operations in Europe, Japan, and Asia-Pacific.
